Reflections from our Chair

Reflections
from our Chair

Dear Friends of the MITER Foundation,

I want to take a moment and personally thank each and every one of you for a record year in 2025. Whether you gave your time, your talents, or your financial support, you were a partner in the success of the MITER Foundation this past year—and we're truly grateful.

Since day one, the Foundation has been about one thing: creating windows of opportunity that make a meaningful difference in people's lives. In 2025, we stayed focused on our four core pillars—Community Outreach, Heroes Support, Children's Well-Being, and Cancer Support—and we saw firsthand how powerful this mission can be when backed by passionate, generous people like you.

This year brought a lot to be proud of. We broke records at both of our annual golf tournaments, saw our outreach committees grow to 18 strong with new teams in Venice, FL and Phoenix, AZ, and came together to support communities hit hard by flooding and wildfire.

The truth is, none of this happens without you. Your support gives the Foundation the fuel it needs to think bigger, dig deeper, and help more people. I'm incredibly proud of what we've done—and even more excited about what's ahead.

"As we continue to set the bar on our journey to being the most Valued Window and Door Brand in America, it is even more important to us that we are THE most impactful organization in our local communities. With the MITER Foundation, we are able to impact so many people, causes, and communities, in such a positive way. It brings me such joy to see our team members and their families getting out into our local communities impacting change, growing relationships, and learning from one another through acts of service. We are proud to serve our Southern California community through the MITER Foundation."

"The foundation is a segue that provides hope when people feel helpless, extends a helping hand when people get knocked down, and shines a little bit of light for people during some of their darkest days. If I was asked what was my aha moment, I would have to say the first time I was able to present a check. There was a family in Gratz that just lost everything except the clothing on their back in a devastating house fire. When they answered the door, I introduced myself and said, 'On behalf of MI Windows and Doors I would like to give you this check.' They were very emotional and extremely thankful. The MITER Foundation is changing lives, and they have changed mine."

"For me, volunteerism is about joining with the people you spend the largest chunk of the day with to work for a greater cause. It's about making a difference and growing stronger relationships within the MITER Brands family and becoming better acquainted with the organizations we support."

Strengthening Communities

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for spending time with our 2025 Annual Report. We're proud to share a year filled with service, generosity, and community spirit — powered by people like you.

The MITER Foundation's purpose-driven mission continues to guide everything we do. Whether through outreach events, support for families facing cancer, programs for children and heroes, or emergency relief in times of crisis, 2025 reminded us just how powerful collective action can be.

The foundation has grown in recent years, both in team members and the communities served. What initially started with MI Windows and Doors has now expanded with team members from Milgard, Sunrise Windows & Doors and PGT Innovations.

But the MITER Foundation is about more than financial support — it's a group of people helping others in any way we can. Because compassion is at the core of what we do at MITER Brands, and together, we're creating windows of opportunity for a brighter future.
